2015 GRAMMY AWARDS BEST MAKEUP & HAIR

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 8th 2015 and as usual the stars came out to shine. Celebrities like Rita Ora ventured an amazing shimmery smokey eye with a nude lip, and I got so excited to see performing  the Queen of Pop, Madonna. This year we saw a lot of the usual exaggerated contouring, bronzer, and eyeliner flicks — typical for the red carpet. But, we also saw dark lips, smoky eyes, purple hair color which I totally loved and gargantuan braids to mix things up a bit.

We were all impressed by Katy Perry‘s beautiful lavender hair. This girl can rock any hair or makeup you can imagine. She looked  gorgeous wearing sexy dress and her makeup artist Jake Bailey used on her lashes the  CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara and of course I am a huge fan of her full brows.

Kim Kardashian is basically redefining the term “hot mama.” Kim always looks on point but I was especially taken away with how lovely her new, short hair looked, swept over one eye with classic nude lips, major contour, and a bronze, smoky situation.  Kim wore  a seriously sexy, sequined-covered Jean Paul Gaultier gown. Her hair was styled by Michael Silva and her makeup was done by Mario Dedivanovic, who wrote on Instagram: “I went with green, gold and gorgeous eyes.”

Taylor Swift wore her sexy bob in slight waves. Her eyes were the focus of her makeup — and her lips were pink instead of red! Taylor opted for a smokey eye with a hint of color. The eyeliner appeared to be teal to match her dress. It was subtle, though, so it wasn’t too matchy match. I truly loved this look! Taylor’s teal Elie Saab dress looked amazing with her purple shoes, it was my favorite! Her large green earrings brought attention to her stunning face.

Gwen Stefani looked stunning in an Ateiler Versace jump suit with an incredibly intricate, sheer bust, leaving us wondering if she actually ages. Her short, blonde hair was swept into a coiffed bouffant, accentuated with diamond studs. Though we missed Stefani’s red lip (she still had red nails!), she made the right choice with softer makeup — leaving her Versace top to do all the talking.

Rihanna let her frothy pink Giambattista Valli dress do the talking, finding the softer side of a smoky eye with metallic beige shadow. The less is morea look at the night’s best nearly nude makeup. She looked innocent, pure and speechless, one word to describe it – Goddess!

Chrissy Teigan wore her hair in a center part and in stunning waves. Her skin was glowing — perfection!!!
